# epushy

> epushy is a chat-style push notification service. Anyone can send a message to a channel with one HTTP request or the `epushy` CLI; people subscribe by scanning the channel's QR code in the epushy iOS/Android app (or by opening the channel page) and get a push notification. Subscribers can reply. Free, no signup needed to send to an open channel.

Important for agents: messages to an open channel are public (anyone who knows the name can read them). Never put secrets in a message. Publish keys (`epk_...`) are secrets; never print or commit them.
